Role Overview
AETERNA Inspection & Technical Services is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our quality control operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing QC teams, implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and ensuring all project deliverables meet client specifications and applicable quality standards across multiple projects in the kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of QC inspectors and engineers across multiple inspection projects in Saudi Arabia
- Develop, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with project specifications and standards
- Ensure all quality control activities are executed per project quality plans, procedures, and applicable codes
- Review and approve quality documentation packages including test reports, material certificates, and inspection records
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), coordinate root cause analysis, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project requirements and company standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 10 years of quality control experience in construction, oil and gas, or infrastructure projects
- At least 5 years in a QC management or supervisory role with team leadership responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of international quality standards including ISO 9001, ISO 17020, and ASTM/API/ASME codes
- Proven experience developing and implementing ITPs and quality control procedures for large-scale projects
