Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Quality Audit Engineer to plan, conduct, and report internal and supplier quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. The successful candidate will assess quality management system compliance, identify non-conformities, and drive corrective actions across projects and supplier facilities. This role requires strong auditing acumen, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of quality assurance principles in the industrial and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct internal quality management system audits per ISO 9001:2015 across all company departments and project sites
- Perform supplier quality audits to evaluate subcontractor and vendor compliance with project quality requirements
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, non-conformities, observations, and recommended corrective actions
- Track and verify the closure of audit findings through effective corrective and preventive action processes
- Maintain audit schedules, records, and certification documentation in compliance with company procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing audit trends and recommending process enhancements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality auditing within engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments
- Certified internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015; lead auditor certification is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, audit techniques, and corrective action methodologies
- Excellent report writing and communication skills with the ability to present findings to management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software systems
