Job Description

AETERNA Inspection & Technical Services is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Lead to oversee quality assurance and quality control programs across multi-country inspection projects. This role involves leading QA/QC teams, developing project-specific quality plans, and driving certification audits for international clients across the Middle East and beyond.

The successful candidate will execute NDT inspections on critical components and structures across oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation facilities. You will prepare NDT reports, maintain equipment, and work closely with inspection engineers to deliver high-quality inspection services.

This role requires a certified NDT professional with hands-on experience in multiple NDT methods who can work effectively in challenging industrial environments.

As a senior leader, you will also contribute to business development by providing quality expertise during proposal preparation, support client relationships through quality assurance activities, and Support quality control activities by providing timely NDT results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections using RT, UT, MT, PT, and PAUT methods on industrial components
  • Prepare detailed NDT reports and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Interpret NDT results and identify defects in accordance with acceptance criteria
  • Coordinate with inspection engineers and project teams for efficient inspection planning
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain safe working practices at all times
  • Assist in the development of NDT procedures and techniques
  • Participate in site surveys and inspection planning activities
  • Maintain certification currency and pursue additional NDT certifications
  • Support quality control activities by providing timely NDT results

Requirements

  • PCN or ASNT Level 2 certification in RT, UT, MT, and PT (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on NDT experience in oil and gas or industrial inspection
  • PAUT certification and experience is highly advantageous
  • TKY experience and knowledge of automated UT systems are a plus
  • Strong understanding of NDT codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO)
  • High school diploma or technical certification in NDT or related field
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for report preparation
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel to project sites
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and safety awareness
