Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Inspector to support the QA/QC team in material receiving inspection and documentation control activities. The successful candidate will verify incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications, maintain quality records, and assist in the preparation of inspection reports. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates seeking to build a career in quality assurance and inspection within the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform material receiving inspections to verify compliance with purchase orders, specifications, and applicable standards
- Maintain and organize quality documentation including material test certificates, inspection records, and traceability logs
- Assist in the preparation and review of inspection test plans (ITPs) and quality checklists
- Coordinate with suppliers and project teams to resolve documentation discrepancies
- Support the QA/QC team in conducting internal inspections and surveillance activities
- Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of quality management systems and inspection documentation practices
- Familiarity with material standards such as ASTM, ASME, or BS is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic data entry skills
