Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Compliance Auditor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This entry-level role focuses on verifying that contractor activities comply with contractual quality requirements, project specifications, and applicable regulatory standards. The successful candidate will support the compliance audit program across active projects, review contractor documentation and quality records, and assist senior auditors in identifying compliance gaps. This position offers structured training and mentorship in compliance auditing within the third-party inspection and quality assurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractor quality documentation including inspection test plans, method statements, and quality control procedures for contractual compliance
- Conduct site compliance inspections to verify contractor adherence to project quality plans and specification requirements
- Assist in preparing compliance audit checklists and conducting systematic audits of contractor quality records and deliverables
- Identify compliance gaps and non-conformities, documenting findings with supporting evidence for review by senior auditors
- Track contractor corrective action submissions and verify closure of compliance-related findings within agreed timeframes
- Maintain compliance audit logs and contribute to monthly compliance performance reports for project management review
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 0-2 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or contract administration within engineering or construction sectors
- Understanding of contractual quality requirements and familiarity with standard contract conditions such as FIDIC is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review technical documentation and identify compliance deviations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred
- ISO 9001 internal auditor certification or willingness to obtain certification within three months of joining
