Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Engineer specialized in Quality Systems to plan and conduct internal and supplier quality audits across our project operations. You will evaluate QMS implementation, identify non-conformities, track corrective actions, and ensure alignment with ISO 9001:2015 requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal quality management system audits across inspection projects and operational departments
- Conduct supplier and subcontractor quality audits to verify compliance with contractual and QMS requirements
- Prepare detailed audit checklists, reports, and non-conformance records with root cause analysis
- Track and verify closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) within defined timeframes
- Review quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and quality plans for compliance
- Support external certification audits and regulatory inspections by coordinating evidence and responses
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality management from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality auditing within inspection, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification from IRCA, Exemplar Global, or equivalent accredited body
- Thorough understanding of QMS principles, process approach, risk-based thinking, and PDCA methodology
- Strong analytical and report writing skills with proficiency in audit management software
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 integrated management systems is highly desirable
