Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Audit Engineer - Documentation to review and audit project quality documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, contract requirements, and company procedures. The successful candidate will evaluate document control systems, verify traceability of quality records, and identify improvement opportunities in documentation practices. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and reliability of our quality management records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit project quality documentation including ITPs, method statements, material certificates, and inspection reports
- Evaluate document control procedures and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and project-specific documentation requirements
- Verify traceability of quality records from material receiving through to final project handover
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and non-conformities in documentation and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain audit logs and track the status of documentation reviews and approvals
- Support project teams in preparing quality documentation packages for client submissions and regulatory reviews
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality documentation, document control, or auditing roles
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and documentation requirements
- Familiarity with engineering documentation such as P&IDs, data sheets, and material test certificates
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in document review
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office applications
